About Cousins

Cousins Medical was established in 2004 by owners Deborah Wyse and Kathy Essex. Officially the business received Medicare approval in all 4 regions, and Medicaid in Ohio and Michigan approval followed in April of 2005. We are also providers for Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, and other major insurance companies. We are registered with Dunn & Bradstreet for government contracts and sell retail, we are registered with the Better Business Bureau and the Bureau of Ohio Rehabilitation Services.

As you can see it has been a long processes in becoming providers, it was worth the wait, it has been very rewarding, we enjoy working with people of all ages, we like to treat everyone like family.

Purpose

This new venture was created to improve the quality of life for individuals through the use of Durable Home Medical Equipment and Supplies. This enables the users of these products a more comfortable life with greater dignity. It also allows them to extend the ability to live in their own homes or residence for a longer period of time.

About Deborah Wyse and Kathy Essex

Both Deborah (8 years) and Kathy (7 years) possess extensive administrative and management experience servicing the public, with respect to their specific individual needs. We are uniquely qualified through previous work experience in all facets of our business. Our careers have enabled us to secure many quality relationships with numerous senior housing managers and doctors, creating a wealth of areas in which to service.
